Our Core Approvals
Certified to Fly: Production Organisation Approval (POA)
Unlike standard 3D printing bureaus, The Aviation AM Centre operates under the strict regulatory oversight of the German Federal Aviation Authority (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt - LBA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
EASA Part 21 Subpart G Approval
Approval Number: DE.21G.0204
Scope of Approval: Production of certified aircraft components, interior cabin structures, air ducting, and systems utilizing both advanced polymer and qualified metal additive manufacturing technologies.
The Bottom Line: Any qualifying component ordered through our e-commerce platform can be shipped with an official EASA Form 1 Authorised Release Certificate, allowing the part to be installed directly into commercial aircraft.
Certified AM Technologies & Materials
Qualified Additive Manufacturing Capabilities
Every machine, powder batch, and parameter on our shop floor is locked under aviation quality control. We have bridged the gap between rapid digital manufacturing and strict aerospace protocols across multiple printing modalities:
Metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF)
Qualified Technology: AMCM M290-2 (Dual-laser 1kW system by EOS/AMCM).
Materials: Aerospace-grade Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Copper.
Use Case: High-strength structural parts, brackets, and system components capable of bypassing traditional OEM supply chains.
Advanced Polymers (SLS, FFF, FGF, SLA)
Qualified Materials: High-performance, flame-retardant thermoplastics.
Compliance Standards: Fully compliant with FAR 25.853 requirements for flammability, smoke density, and toxicity.
Use Case: Passenger seat elements, cabin interior liners, meal trolley parts, and customized ECS air ducting.
